As a lifetime car nut I love cars, but I have always had a problem keeping up with my maintenance. My car database essentially is the marriage of my love of cars and technology to hopefully get me to keep my cars and trucks in better condition. The gas price spike of summer 2008 proved to me that I need to do more than what I was currently doing.

If you have heard the term mashup then that is basically what mycardb.com is currently. We get feeds from the government (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration) , Google, and Yahoo and present the data in a consistent form. We will be adding more features in time, but there is enough to keep even the fanheads busy with over 28,000 cars, trucks, and motorcycles from 1981.
